About the Global Congress on Intellectual Property and the Public Interest

The Global Congress on Intellectual Property and the Public Interest (“Global Congress”) was instituted in 2011 at Washington D.C. Since its inception, three editions of the Global Congress have engaged national and international governmental entities, the private sector, civil society, and academia in providing perspectives and future scenarios for intellectual property, innovation and development.

Global Congress, December 2015: Save the date

The Centre for Internet and Society(“CIS”) will soon announce the tracks and launch a website for the Global Congress 2015. Tentatively, the event will be organised during the first two weeks of December 2015. The exact dates will be declared after the WIPO releases its calendar of events and meetings for 2015, so as to ensure that the Global Congress does not clash with any of WIPO’s events.

We will keep you posted on developments on the Global Congress 2015 regularly.
