Public Citizen Conference Call Briefing on Trade Negotiations Underway in the United States

WHAT:  Fair trade advocates from the United States, New Zealand and Australia will provide a press briefing via conference call on key issues surrounding the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade negotiations taking place in the United States and civil society’s response.  Local and foreign advocates will be speaking from Chicago, where the negotiations are underway.  The trade pact is poised to become the largest regional trade agreement of its type, and could have significant impacts on the economy, environment and national sovereignty.
