Consumer Focus, a branch of the UK government has published the results of a survey of internet users. The survey reports a number of findings related to British citizens’ internet and digital media usage, and their attitudes regarding copyright, file sharing, and media access. One finding was that 75% of users thought format shifting was legal, when it is in fact against the law.
