On January 23 and 24, the University of Pretoria will host events exploring the following topics:

  • Natural language processing, 
  • Climate modeling
  • A right to research in African Law
  • African leadership on the right to research

On January 26 and 27, the University of Cape Town will host events on these topics:

  • Digitizing African heritage
  • Health research
  • African AI and digital humanities
  • A right to research in African law
  • WIPO, AfCFTA and future work on IP
