Foremost among them is the critical concern of data governance in the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). Another noteworthy point is the rising concern about corporate lobbying dominating AI policy shaping. Lastly, while models like ChatGPT wield influence, they represent only a narrow facet of AI capabilities, emphasizing the need for public discourse to broaden and encompass the entire AI landscape.

The realm of artificial intelligence (AI) confronts a critical concern—data governance. According to Janet Haven, executive director of the nonprofit Data & Society, studies on this subject often lack comprehensiveness and explicit labeling as discussions on data governance, presenting a challenge in addressing the myriad risks associated with AI systems and necessitating a nuanced approach to governance.
